Born and raised in Salt Lake City — Kearns, to be exact — I come from a working class family, and that’s shaped everything about how I run this shop. Before I ever picked up a pair of clippers, I spent 13 years as an automotive technician. Turns out that same obsession with getting the details right translates pretty well to a straight razor.
I trained at The Barber School under Master Barbers Tim Hite and Milton Larson starting in 2013 — two guys who taught me the old school way. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just clippers, a comb, and a pair of shears. I’m still grateful for that every day I’m in the chair.
When I’m not cutting hair, I’m probably out on the bike, working in my food forest, or knee-deep in a horror movie marathon. Wrestling’s always playing somewhere in my mind too — if you catch me mid-rant about a match, that’s normal here.
